Yolo County Central Landfill accepts plastic 1-7, and rigid plastic as free recycling daily. Mon-Sat 6:30-4, Sun 8-4. Plastics 1-7 can be comingled with food and beverage glass, and paper products while rigid plastics (laundry hampers, buckets, rubbermaid totes, etc.) are recycled separately. Please note: plastic bags, plastic wrap, pool noodles, brittle plastic, and rubber products (garden hoses, floor mats, car bumpers, etc.) are considered garbage and are accepted daily for a fee.
